What we're thankful for...

It’s that time of year where we all spend time counting the things for which we’re thankful. The board of directors of Jessie’s Kids Foundation is thankful this year to be part of a community that is dedicated to helping shape the lives of at-risk youth.

Tippecanoe County is rich with people who work and volunteer tirelessly at Cary Home, Juvenile Alternatives, and Juvenile Probation. They go above and beyond to ensure that the youth who enter juvenile justice programs have opportunities that they may have never had before. They often sacrifice personal and family time in order to do what is best for the youth who are temporarily in their care.

On November 4, the nation celebrated Thank A Youth Worker Day to give thanks for all the people who commit themselves to positively impacting the youth of their community. In Tippecanoe County, Jessie’s Kids Foundation is committed to thanking them throughout the year by providing program supplies and resources so that they can do their jobs to the best of their abilities. With the right tools, the youth workers of Tippecanoe County can significantly impact the lives of the hundreds of youth that they interact with each year.

During this time of thanksgiving, please consider donating to Jessie’s Kids Foundation to not only show support for our county’s youth workers, but also to have a lasting impact on the lives of county youth. You can donate on-line at jessieskidsfoundation.org or mail a check to Jessie’s Kids Foundation, 1530 S. 18th St., Lafayette, IN 47905.
